Side event and Reception at the Third UN Ocean Conference
Join us for the official presentation of the Protection Principle Task Force — an independent, initiative committed to making ocean protection the norm rather than the exception. Building on the momentum of the Let’s Be Nice to the Ocean Movement, this Task Force will chart practical pathways to implement the Protection Principle, shifting the burden of proof so that ocean protection takes precedence over exploitation.
This effort is a step toward turning ambition into action ahead of the Fourth United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC4).
