In their SDG Knowledge Hub, the International Institute on Sustainable Development (IISD) reports that we are seeking to engage with NGOs who responded in June 2023 to our survey on the third UN Ocean Conference (UNOC3), as well as the now 400+ individual and stakeholders and Civil Society Organizations that have since contacted us or subscribed to the LinkedIn Let’s Be Nice to the Ocean page.
We expect to publish the outcome of this new call for participation in an addendum to the original Let’s Be Nice to the Ocean paper, in time for the Immersed in Change Conference, scheduled in San José, Costa Rica, from 7-8 June 2024, one year before UNOC3, and one month before the Preparatory Meeting for the Third UN Ocean Conference convened in New York by the President of the UN General Assembly.
